Figuring out all of the travel logistics to get to camp can be a large undertaking. Many miles must be covered, the means are very limited, and not always google searchable. But the reward makes it all worth it – Going remote and getting to where few people have ever set foot.

 

Float Plane Flights to and from Wesley’s Outposts is provided from Pickle Lake, Ontario

 

All package rates include this flight. Flight time will be arranged with your travel plan in mind. Please keep in mind that weather is always in play and we cannot and will not risk your life flying in unsuitable conditions. Also, if you would rather fly directly to and from Sioux Lookout let us know. We work with the best charter companies in the area and can arrange flights at reasonable rates for our guests. Because everything arrives onboard one of our small aircraft, we ask that you travel light when you come visit us.  We have a detailed packing list avalible.

Getting to Pickle Lake For Your Flight:

​

Your flight will take off from the lake in Pickle Lake Ontario. We have arranged a chartered flight with a float plane company called Pickle Lake Airways.

 

Set your GPS to the follow address:

Beach Rd, Pickle Lake, ON P0V 3A0

 

When you arrive you will see a blue sign on a building that says Pickle Lake Airways and it will look something like this:

When you arrive go into the office there and let them know you have arrived. Ask them if your flight will be running on schedule or if they are backed up from weather delays. (Please Note: Small flights like these are different than big commercial carriers. Bad weather can back up flights and create delays, sometimes prior days flights can get backed up to the current day if weather is really bad.)
